The tools that are actually free for Indian job seekers

Naukri360 is the least glamorous option on this list and the most honest one. It's built by an Indian job portal for Indian job seekers, it pulls your details straight from your Naukri profile, and it exports both PDF and Word without a paywall anywhere in the flow. Its templates default to formatting that recruiters and India-based ATS instances (including Naukri's own resume database, RESDEX) already expect — single column, standard section headers, no design flourishes. If you want one resume, fast, at zero cost, with no risk of an unwanted renewal three weeks later, this is it. The trade-off is honest too: the templates are plain, and there's no AI writing assistant. You're getting a functional document, not a polished one.

FlowCV's free tier is close behind. You get one resume version with a genuinely unlimited, uncapped PDF export — no watermark, no card required, no "upgrade to download" wall at the end. The catch is you're limited to a single saved resume, so if you want two very different versions (say, one for a support role and one for a data-analyst role), you'll be editing the same document back and forth rather than keeping both live at once. Canva's free plan technically allows PDF export on any design, resume templates included.
