Spotting fake data entry offers
Data entry is the job title most often used in recruitment scams. Before you share documents or money, check for these signs:
- A "registration fee", "training fee" or "ID card fee" before joining. Genuine employers do not charge candidates.
- An offer with no interview or test, sent over WhatsApp from a personal number.
- Pay that is far above what similar roles list on job portals for "simple copy-paste work".
- No company address, website or official email domain.
